Fitted anti-snap cylinders right round, a real step up on the tired originals, and eased a couple of doors sitting out of square back to pulling up and locking cleanly.

One evening a young couple stepped out and pulled the door to behind them, keys still inside. Reached through the letterbox with the right tool to press the internal lever, drew the latch back and had them in again — nothing drilled, no lock replaced, not a mark left on the door.
George was fantastic. He replied super quick even late at night, came next day to do the job and all for a very good price. He explained everything to me, took his time making sure everything was perfect and fixed issues we weren’t even aware of with our doors. Cobham sits between the A3 and M25 Junction 10, and that one fact runs through every job here: when the A245 snarls, a three-minute hop becomes thirty, so we build that into the timing rather than pretend it away. Church Cobham and The Tilt are narrow lanes with on-street parking — tight to thread a van, so tell us where there is a gap near the door. The gated estates are the other story: Fairmile, Oxshott Way, Eaton Park and the Crown Estate run electric gates and long drives, and some homes have a second set of gates behind the first. You will need to buzz us through the outer gate, and it helps to say which set, because being held between two barriers wastes everyone's morning. Out toward Stoke d'Abernon and Downside it is much the same. School-run hours near the station and the High Street pinch up too. We cover the lot daily; ring us and we will read the A245 as it is that hour and give you an arrival we can actually stand behind, not a hopeful guess. Yes. On listed and conservation-area timber we re-fit the original mortice case and keep period-pattern furniture rather than cutting a modern unit into old oak. Most binding is the frame swelling, not the lock — usually an adjustment, not a new lock. The price is fixed before we start.
You open the gate for us, and tell us on the phone if there's a second set behind the first, which a few homes on Oxshott Way and the Crown Estate have. Gate-side intercoms and keypads can lock you out at the boundary too — that's a separate job we handle. We'll confirm the exact timing when you call.
Almost never. On the prime detached homes we pick the lock or use the right bypass to open clean, so the hardwood and the existing cylinder stay put. If a cylinder genuinely can't be picked I'll tell you before any cutting starts, and the quote is fixed first.
