- Document — Timestamped photos of the damage before we touch anything, and of every fix after. Yours to send straight to your insurer.
- Quote repairs — A written fixed quote for any permanent repairs — doors, frames, upgrades. No obligation, and no pressure to decide tonight.

Real jobs, photographed on the tools
Every frame is a real call-out — 45 photographs taken on the job. The doors, the worn gearboxes, the finished fits: this is the day-to-day work behind the fixed quotes on this page — and the locksmith in the band at the top of this page is the one who answers when you call.

While you wait for us
If anyone could still be inside
Call 999 and don’t go in. Nothing about the door matters until you’re safe.
Report it on 101
By phone or online — and ask for the crime reference number. Your insurer will want it; it does not have to happen before we arrive.
Don’t touch the point of entry
Photograph everything first, exactly as you found it. Your claim is built on those pictures.
List what’s missing
Start the list while it is fresh, and keep adding as things surface over the next few days.
Fixed on the phone, before we set off.
One all-in figure for the visit, agreed before anyone moves. You approve it; that is the number when the job is done.

What people say afterwards.
We had a break-in last month and I was a complete mess afterwards. Trulox came out same day to board up and change all the locks. What I appreciated most was they didn’t rush me - took time to explain what they were fitting and why. Made me feel safe in my own home again which sounds dramatic but it’s true. Would definitely recommend to anyone in a similar situation, they really do care.

What’s always included.
- Timestamped photos of the damage as we found it, and of every fix after
- A plain-English written note of what was forced and what we did about it
- An itemised invoice — total price, no VAT added — with your crime reference number on it, so the claim and the receipt match without chasing
- A written fixed quote for any permanent repairs, with no obligation attached
Broken glass? We board it — then hand you to a glazier we trust
Boarding keeps you safe and dry the same day where possible. For the permanent glass we put you in touch with a local glazier we have worked alongside for years — referred at cost. We add no markup and take no commission, so you pay the glazier’s price, not ours-plus.
Stronger than before — when you’re ready, not before
Once the door locks again, there is no rush. Most break-ins exploit one weak component, and replacing that one thing is usually cheaper than people fear. A calm walk round the property — what is solid, what is weak, what to fix first — can wait for a day when you want it. About the home security check →
If you need more than a locksmith
Being burgled is more than a broken door. Victim Support runs a free, independent helpline, 24/7 — 0808 168 9111 — whether or not you report the crime, and whoever fixes the door.
Honest answers, before you call.
My wallet was stolen — how do I pay?
Bank transfer or a payment link sent to your phone — losing your cards doesn’t mean you can’t call us. Payment is at completion, once the door locks and you’ve seen the work.
Should I claim on my home insurance for this?
Check your excess first: typical UK home policies carry an excess somewhere between £100 and £350, and a straightforward securing job can come in under it — sometimes the honest answer is that a claim isn’t worth it. We’ll give you the fixed price either way, and an itemised invoice if you do claim.
I rent — who sorts the locks after a break-in?
As a rule the landlord is responsible for the security of the building itself, and the damage gets settled between landlord and insurer. But you shouldn’t sleep behind a broken door while that conversation happens — call us first if you need the door secured now. We can invoice your landlord or letting agent directly, paid at completion by payment link, so nothing depends on you fronting the bill.
Do I need a police report before you can come?
No — call whenever you’re ready, with or without one. Report the burglary on 101 or online (999 only if someone might still be inside), because your insurer will want the crime reference number — but securing your home doesn’t have to wait for it. If the police are coming to examine the scene, tell us on the phone: we’ll photograph everything and leave the point of entry untouched until they’ve finished.
How fast can you get here?
Securing after a break-in jumps the queue. Typically with you in 30–45 minutes — and we’ll confirm your exact ETA when you call, rather than promise a number we can’t keep. Lines are open 8am until midnight, seven days a week; overnight, message us on WhatsApp and we’ll reply when we reopen and prioritise you.
