Locked out? Take a breath — this is fixable.
We pick locks open rather than drill them, and you approve a fixed price on the phone before anyone sets off.

If we miss your call, we ring you back within 10 minutes.
If your call drops, we ring you back — same number, within 10 minutes.
- No call-out fee — when you accept the quoted work
- You'll have your price in writing before we set off.
- Drilling is the last resort, not the first move
Where are you?
Your postcode gets you an honest arrival window — not a fantasy.
All you need is your postcode — the lock is our job.
What we fix right now
Locked out
Picked open, not drilled. Most doors open in minutes.
Snapped key
The broken piece comes out — and a replacement cylinder is on the van if yours is past saving.
After a break-in
Door secured, locks changed, and the paperwork your insurer asks for — in the same visit.
Door won’t lock
uPVC mechanisms realigned or replaced on the spot.
Child locked inside
If a child or anyone vulnerable is in immediate danger, call 999 now — Fire & Rescue attend free of charge. We repair the door after.

Evening jobs (6pm–midnight) add £20 to the day price — published here, not discovered on your doorstep. Every figure above is a starting price: your fixed quote is agreed on the phone before anyone sets off, and it’s the total price — no VAT added. The price we agree is the price you pay.
What happens when you call
You call, we answer
You'll speak to George — the owner, and a working locksmith. Not a call centre. A few quick questions about your door and lock.
One fixed figure
Your fixed quote for the whole job, agreed on the phone and sent to you in writing before we set off.
We drive to you
Typically with you in 30–45 minutes. We'll confirm your exact ETA when you call — no overpromising. ID shown at your door.
Back inside — pay at the end
You pay when the job's done and you've seen the work — card, bank transfer or a payment link.
While you wait
Calm, practical things for the stretch between hanging up and the knock at the door.
- Wait somewhere warm and lit. A neighbour's, your car, the porch — and keep a little phone battery for our message.
- Dig out proof of address. We'll ask for proof it's your home before we open it. That's not a hurdle — it's how you know you've called the right kind of locksmith.
- Watch for the written price. You'll have your price in writing before we set off. Keep that message — it's the figure you pay.
- If this is a break-in, leave the door as it is. Photograph the damage for your insurer and report it to the police on 101 for a crime reference number. Our burglary page walks you through the rest.
Can't talk right now?
In a meeting, somewhere loud, a phone on its last bar — two quiet ways to keep this moving.
Before you call
Asked at the door
Are you actually local?
Yes — we're a small independent firm, not a national call centre. George is out here daily, and when you call, you speak to George — the owner, and a working locksmith. One of our own DBS-checked locksmiths comes to you. Typically with you in 30–45 minutes — and we'll confirm your exact ETA when you call.
It's after midnight — can I still reach you?
Our lines are open 8am to midnight, every day. After midnight, message us on WhatsApp and we'll reply when we reopen — or send the quote form and we'll ring you back from 8am.
My wallet was stolen — how do I pay?
Bank transfer or a payment link sent to your phone — losing your cards doesn't mean you can't call us. Payment is at completion, once the door locks and you've seen the work.
It's 11:40pm — can you still come out tonight?
If we've answered your call before midnight, we're coming — even if we arrive after it. The line is open until midnight, every day. Past that, message us on WhatsApp or send the quote form and we'll ring you back from 8am.
What will it actually cost?
You'll get a fixed quote on the phone — one total figure for the whole job, agreed before anyone sets off and sent to you in writing, so the price at the door can't grow. You pay at the end, once the work is done and you've seen it.
Still outside? One call sorts it.
- No call-out fee — when you accept the quoted work
- 12-month workmanship guarantee (terms apply)
Home and business locks only — we don't cut car keys, open vehicles or safes.
