How we work in flats and HMOs
Flats are a little different from houses. Your own front door is usually straightforward, but communal entrance doors typically belong to the freeholder or managing agent — if the job is on a shared door, check you have their permission before booking, and we'll quote it the same way as any other job.
For HMOs and individual room locks, one thing matters above everything — a door on an escape route must open from the inside without a key. Tell us how the room is used and we'll name and price a suitable lock in writing before anything is fitted.
