In writing, on every invoice
The 12-month workmanship guarantee.
Every job we do is covered for 12 months from the date on your invoice. If our workmanship lets you down, we come back and put it right — free, without a fuss, without a form.
What's covered
- Our workmanship, for 12 months. Fitting, adjustment and alignment of anything we worked on — if it fails because of how we fitted it, we fix it free.
- Parts we supplied, under the manufacturer's own warranty. If a lock we fitted develops a fault inside that period, we handle the swap — you're never passed to a helpline.
- Every job, automatically. Whatever we came out for, the guarantee is on the invoice — not an optional extra you have to buy.
What's not
- Fair wear and tear, lost keys, or damage after our visit — a kicked door or an attempted break-in isn't a workmanship fault.
- Locks and doors we didn't fit or work on. We'll still come and quote a fixed price to sort them.
- Pre-existing door or frame problems we pointed out at the visit — anything we flag, we flag in writing on your invoice, so there's never an argument later.
How to claim
- Call or WhatsApp with your name and postcode — the invoice number helps, but we'll find you without it.
- We talk it through. A photo often solves it on the spot; if not, we book a return visit that suits you.
- We come back and put it right. If it's our workmanship, there's nothing to pay. You speak to the locksmith, not a call centre — there's no “claims department”.
The plain-English promise above is the deal. The guarantee is provided by Trulox Ltd, company № 12280106 ↗, runs for 12 months from the completion date on your invoice, and doesn't affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Something not right?
If we fitted it and it's misbehaving, that's our problem — not yours.
